Companies that are deploying push notifications without personalizing the message and timing are not effective.  Companies using personalization are segmenting their database on numerous criteria, including historical customer interaction data to determine buyer preferences (67%), those who look at products/service but don’t purchase (56%), customer demographics such as specific location, historical spend, mobile website history and mobile application usage.
